Our Story
Reinventing laundry for Singapore homes
Since 2021, 178 Smartcare has been on a mission to take the chore out of laundry, bringing the Smartvard automated laundry system to homes across Singapore with smart, space-saving, weather-proof drying.
How it began
A smarter answer to Singapore's laundry problem.
In 2021, we kept hearing the same frustrations from Singapore households: laundry that never dried in the rainy season, bulky racks eating up precious space, and the daily hassle of hanging and reaching. We knew there had to be a better way.
That year, 178 Smartcare introduced the Smartvard automated laundry system , a ceiling-mounted smart drying rack that lowers at the touch of a button, dries indoors with powerful fans and heaters, and tucks neatly away when not in use.
What started as one clever appliance has grown into a full range trusted by families island-wide, and it keeps getting smarter every year.
